Author obligations & publication policy

2026 IEEE NEPCON follows standard IEEE conference publication policy. Authors are responsible for compliance with the obligations below.

Original & unpublished work

Submissions must present original, unpublished work that is not under review or accepted elsewhere. All papers are screened for plagiarism and are subject to IEEE CrossCheck. Papers exceeding IEEE similarity thresholds will be rejected.

No-show policy

Accepted papers must be presented by a registered author (in person or, where permitted, online). Papers not presented at the conference will not be forwarded for IEEE Xplore inclusion.

Mandatory registration

At least one author of each accepted paper must complete a full author registration (by 20 November 2026) for the paper to be included in the proceedings. Online presenters are not eligible for the conference kit โ€” see Registration.

Copyright (IEEE eCF)

Authors of accepted papers must complete the IEEE electronic Copyright Form (eCF) and use the official IEEE conference paper template. The eCF link/process will be provided with the acceptance notification.

Proceedings & indexing

Accepted, registered, and presented papers are intended for submission to IEEE Xplore, subject to the publisher's approval and IEEE quality review.
